Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Service Near. By creating an account or using our platform you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Serverse.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Serverse. By registering, you confirm that:
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@serverse.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not create more than one account without our written permission, or create an account on behalf of another person without their consent.
Serverse acts as an intermediary marketplace. The contract for the provision of services is between the Customer and the Vendor — Service Near is not a party to that contract.
A Booking is confirmed when the Customer receives a booking confirmation notification. Once confirmed, both parties are bound to honour the terms of the booking.
Vendors set their own availability, pricing, and service terms. Customers are responsible for reviewing all service details before confirming a Booking.
All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
When a Customer completes a Booking, payment is collected immediately and held by Serverse (escrow model). Funds are released to the Vendor after the service is delivered, minus the Platform Fee. The current Platform Fee is displayed in your vendor dashboard and may change with 30 days' notice.
All prices displayed on the Platform are in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation terms are set by each Vendor and displayed on their service listing. Customers should review these terms before booking.
Where a Vendor cancels a confirmed Booking, the Customer will receive a full refund to their original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Where a Customer cancels a Booking, the refund amount depends on the Vendor's cancellation policy and how far in advance the cancellation is made. Serverse's Platform Fee is non-refundable once a Booking is confirmed.
Disputes about refunds should be raised through the Platform's dispute resolution process or by contacting our support team.

Customers agree to:
Customers who have completed a Booking may leave a review of the service. Reviews must be honest, first-hand, and not contain defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise unlawful content. We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these terms.
By submitting a review or any other content on the Platform, you grant Serverse a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
You may not use Serverse to:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
The Serverse name, logo, and all Platform content (excluding user-generated content) are the intellectual property of Serverse or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Serverse's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total Platform Fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
Serverse is not liable for: the quality, safety, or legality of services listed by Vendors; the accuracy of Vendor listings; the ability of Vendors to provide services; or any indirect, consequential, or special losses.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
If a dispute arises between a Customer and a Vendor, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve it directly. If this fails, either party may raise a dispute through the Platform's support process. Service Near may, at our discretion, mediate disputes and our decision shall be final.
Serverse is not obligated to mediate disputes but may do so as a courtesy. Acting as mediator does not make Serverse liable for the outcome.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payments owed, limitation of liability, and governing law) shall survive.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
